This post was supposed to have followed within hours of the previous one, but life takes time…Ā The last week of October heralds the Season of the Rose at Sequoia Gardens!
My beloved “Penelope”, most beautiful of the Hybrid Musk roses, must feature first. Here she is in the arboretum with The House that Jack Built in the distance; next she grows in front of the cottage.
If I were to chose one rose above all others, she would be it. All others must wait their turn.
